Erika Gallion Velasquez is a writer based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Erika writes mainly creative nonfiction. She is actively seeking representation for her memoir and is also drafting her first novel.

Erika is the winner of the 2024 Cincinnati Review Robert and Adele Schiff award for literary nonfiction.

Her nonfiction has appeared in Entropy, The Racket, Women’s Review of Books, HerStry, NiftyLit, Apricity (nominated for Best of The Net), and Always Crashing. Her fiction has appeared in Angel City Review.
